Lifelines was excellent. A relative new writer who should go far. I liked it because I like shows like scrubs and other hospital related titles.It’s better then those shows however its very action packed and even has some mystery. I would highly recommend reading this! ~Amber Lynch

One day while browsing in the local bookstore, I stumbled across a very interesting book cover with the characters on the cover dressed in scrubs. As a registered nurse and avid reader, I was immediately drawn to the book and quickly read the back cover. I couldn’t wait to get the book home!!! I started the book when I got home and could not put it down. I was on the edge of my seat all evening! I went to work the next day and told everyone about Lifelines. I read a lot of books and happened upon your novel, Lifelines. I really enjoyed the book – it was very well written, which is in contrast to a number of previous books I’ve read that were authored by doctors. Not only was the book well written, it also didn’t dumb down the reader. I’ve read medically-related novels where the physician author felt the need to impress the reader with medical jargon. A reader can tell when it’s put in for that purpose, and if they’re a big reader, they probably knew something about the subject anyway! ~Cindy Gooch

I cut my teeth on medical thrillers with Robin Cook and have been gobbling up most everything that comes out in the genre. What I love, love, love about LIFELINES is not just that the medical information is authentic and that the story is incredibly fast-paced with plenty of twists and turns, but that the four women in your story seem real, like I could meet them in the hospital in my city. I purchased Lifelines very shortly after it had been published. I was really surprised that it was a first book. It was excellent! I am an RN and love medical suspense. The problem I usually have is that the setting or scenes are not realistic which can cause me to stop reading. Lifelines was excellent, good suspense, obviously written by someone who knew about what happens in healthcare with just enough fiction. I would recommend this book to anyone! ~Marlene Perry

I was given Lifelines by a fellow nurse to read and it was highly recommended. I loved it and can hardly wait for CJLyons next book to be published.
